Congratulations Prairie Princess. Here are two three (I have no restraint) bonus songs that could (should?) have made my list:
“Battery in your Leg” and “Ambulance” by Blur. I listened to Think Tank yesterday mostly because of Emily’s comment about how she liked “Caravan” and wanted to hear more from that album. Some of the songs are so good. “Battery in your Leg” is the only one that Graham Coxon plays on. He left the band for a while due to creative differences, most of which had to do with hiring Fatboy Slim (ugh, I’m sorry I had to type that) to produce a couple of songs. Incidentally, those are the two worst songs on the album, so congratulations Fatboy. “Ambulance” is just a cool sounding song. Stick around for the end. Starting at 2:48 to the end is as good as anything Blur has ever done. Edit: I had to put “Out of Time” up, too.

I’ve remembered several songs that I really love not on the list, so I might post bonus songs here or there in the future. That’s right, even more songs no one listens to or cares about.
Bonus thought of the day: One of the strange things about writing something people see is that once it is out there and read you can’t change what has been seen. I’m sure authors (real authors) experience that all the time when they publish. Its sort of a weird feeling. Anyone else notice that?

YES!
Thanks Josh- I really like Ambulance.
