My little baby is three months old already! Here are a few things that he’s been doing: Sleeping. It’s been a few weeks now that he’s been sleeping throughout the night. Hooray! He had one fluke sleep-through very early on, but now that it’s been a solid two weeks at least of sleeping [...] I’m writing this at the end of the 3rd day following Jett’s tonsillectomy. He’s had his ups and downs, and thankfully – they’ve mostly been ups. He’s still not taking his Tylenol with codeine based on taste alone, but we’ve been keeping up with the regular children’s Tylenol like clockwork: every 4 hours (except overnight). [...]
Recently Josh and I have started watching Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job! (that’s the name of the show). It’s a crazy, weird comedy show that appears late night on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim. A segment that aired a couple of nights ago had us cracking up big time! Me especially since [...] Boy, my kids know how to rock. Their idea of a good time is listening to the Fifty Nifty United States song over and over again (from YouTube). What is really funny is listening to some of the words they create to phonetically match what they think they’re hearing in the song. When it comes [...] Have you all seen the ‘I Pledge…’ video? It’s been floating around on the MSN homepage for the last couple of days. I thought I’d post it here for all of you to enjoy. :) Celebrities are so patriotic, smart, practical and oozing with virtue. And they want us to follow their lead. So, what [...] I spent a lot of time today loading videos from my Flip camcorder to my computer. I thought I had only taken 4 or 5 videos. There were 24. Turns out that Jude – on a couple of different days – had done some recording of his own. I have a lot of footage to [...] Josh and I came across this YouTube video over the weekend and we were appalled/amused. Apparently, this is taken from the 1989 movie Teen Witch. Enjoy! And top that! [...] Yesterday afternoon I had the *nerve* to sneak away and shower after the kids had got up from their naps. I gave them a snack and put on a movie that they hadn’t seen in a long time thinking they would be captivated long enough for me to shower. How wrong I was. This video [...] A couple of weeks ago, Josh and I went to Omaha and saw Okkervil River in concert for the first time after being fans of the band for about a year. For Josh’s birthday last week, his mom gave him a coupon to watch the kids in October so that we can go to Chicago [...] Happy birthday to my best brother Jacob! He’s a brilliant structural engineering student studying at ISU and he’s 22 today. I love you.
