Yes, sadly, this is the second entry into The Naughty Files in as many days. I was talking to our realtor on the phone late last week about an odd situation we got ourselves into with our property and a potential deal (it didn’t work out, btw) and I stopped mid-sentence, mid-thought when I saw [...] So, I’m kind of blogging to tell you I won’t be blogging today. I will be working on cleaning my house today. We have a showing this evening, and I want things to be as near perfect as I can manage. Maybe this will be the year to sell and find something new. Our house [...] I’m writing! I’m writing! I’m writing! And I’m trying not to freak out. I’m really excited to be back, though. Notice anything different? Of course you don’t, but I do. I’m using a new laptop. Blogging became quite cumbersome on our old, slow, garbage clown computer. It was way more trouble than it was [...] This is pretty much what I’ll be doing all day: It’s a glamorous life I lead. *By the way, I updated the last post with Josh’s philly cheesesteak recipe in the comments, and I got the picture files fixed in yesterday’s post in the arts & crafts section of the blog.* Posting by phone isn’t [...] Today I had a blog-worthy sandwich. This is what writing snippets on my blog is all about. Josh – entirely on his own – went grocery shopping for the ingredients to make this meal and it was all a surprise to me. Today after church he made us the best Philly cheesesteak sandwiches [...] Does anyone besides me think that it’s a little early for this kind of premeditated mischief? Jace is only 15 months old. Or if you ask Josh, he’s one. Entirely on his own, Jace pushed the chair from the table over to the sink and climbed up. I was in the room with him the [...] This morning I was talking to Jett, calling him Jettster like I so often do. And then it occurred to me to ask if he likes it or doesn’t like it when I call him Jettster. He said he did like it. And then he said: “And you can call me Bear, too.” [...] Yesterday afternoon, Jett hit a bit of a rough patch. In the afternoon, we had a house showing (yes, it’s still for sale). To get out of the house while the realtor was here, we decided to hit the McDonald’s drive-thru in a neighboring town. I bought Jett a small Sprite. I told him that [...] One of my favorite things about my day is driving the kids to school in the morning. I love seeing all of “my” boys and sharing a part of their lives. And there is just something about starting off a day with new promise. Here’s what my car looks like when we begin.
