Dear Emily, I’m so glad you are my sister. Who would have guessed after all the knock-down, drag-out fights we had as we were growing up, you becoming ENRAGED when I’d crack my knuckles (even though you did it, too), or fighting over whose turn it was to sing “Part of Your World” (solo-style, of course), [...] To start things off, here’s a picture of Jace on the day of his birthday, opening the gifts that my mom & dad got for him. Here he is with new onesies that fit! (Since Mom always thinks his shirts look too small for him.) Sunday afternoon we had Jace’s family birthday party at my in-laws’ [...] This will be a mash up post of lots of things happening around the Zeigler household. Be ready. We’re making frequent stops today. First: The baby has delighted me lately with his mastery of backing down from furniture. Sounds like a small thing, but this is really huge. You see, we have a climber on our [...] It’s hard to believe that we are celebrating the 12 month anniversary of Jace’s birth today. Otherwise known as a… well, you know what it is. It’s his first… don’t make me write it. Jace is a dream. He’s been such an unbelievably good baby. He is so mild-mannered, easy-going, HAPPY. I love him more [...] I had to share this short little story: Yesterday morning, we had a girlfriend of mine and her boys over to play. As they were getting ready to go, I heard Jude saying “Jesus” a lot. I didn’t think too much of it. After they left, all of my boys were in the living room and I [...] Yesterday I shared this picture of the boys outside. Jett was dressed rather warmly. A long-sleeved shirt, jeans, and socks with sandals. This dress is standard with this boy. Five things you should know about Jett: #1: Jett dresses himself every morning, and almost every morning, he comes out of his room dressed in a long-sleeved shirt and [...] As if. I have a hard enough time keeping everyone fed and bathed around here, so no, we don’t have a legitimate pet. But we have been “caring” for this: Isn’t she a beaut? I should have taken pictures before, in about a month it seems she’s quadrupled in size. She had me from the moment I saw her [...] Sarah. You called it. It’s the first entry for the Naughty Files in a long while. This is actually a phase of Jett’s that begun several weeks ago. But this weekend was especially bad. Jett goes through periods of… let’s just say “high energy”. During these periods of “high energy”, he gets wild. Out of control. He [...] I just got back from running errands. One thing I had yet to do was go to our safe deposit box at the bank and get a copy of Jude’s social security card. Check. The second thing I had to do was take the copy of his social security card and turn it in along with the [...] Our nephew Jackson spent some time at his grandparents’ house last weekend, and we were able to come out for a visit for a short while. This is probably bad news: Jett carried Jace over to the jeep and strapped him in. Then Jett got in the passenger’s side and was pressing the “gas” pedal from his [...] |
