It’s hip to be square

I wanted to extend a personal invite to each of you as readers of this blog to attend my sister’s first art show gallery opening.  It’s going to be a great time.

It’s Friday, July 2nd from 6 pm – 9 pm at Ephemera (Des Moines, East Village).

Emily – as featured on the blog several times – has painted 72 small (8” x 8”) squares that will be available for sale… all reasonably priced.  I’ve seen a sneak peak of the squares – they are very cool.  These paintings coordinate with each other wonderfully and would look unbelievably sweet as a set.

I can not wait for this event; I’m hoping to see a lot of you there!

I’m planning to give you guys a little bit of background about how this event came to be at another time.  For now, I just wanted to let you know so you can put it on your calendars.

Also, if there are any Facebookers out there who aren’t friends with me, first of all – shame on you!  Friend me at your earliest convenience.  There is also a Nothing Gets Crossed Out group, feel free to join!  I usually post links there when I update the blog.
