Jace is 7 months

The baby is 7 months old.

His best trick right now is the tongue trick as shown above.  He’s also sitting up on his own in the photo, another of his tricks.  Such a talented young man!

He’s eating well and sleeping well.  No teeth yet (yes!).  He gets up and crawls on his hands and knees every once in awhile, but mostly he’s army crawling and getting faster all the time.

The older brothers are paying more and more attention to him as he’s crawling around.  For example, if a Playstation controller is on the floor, Jace will crawl over to chew on it.  Instead of moving said controller away from Jace, Jude will pick Jace up and place him precariously on the edge of the couch, only for Jace to fall .2 seconds later.  That happened twice in one day.  Thankfully, I haven’t witnessed it since.

And today, Jett thought Jace would have fun swinging in his swing, so from the floor, Jett picked Jace up by the back of his sleeper (kind of like how a mommy cat carries her kittens) and was trying to lift him up high enough to put him in his swing.  That is when I came into the room and crashed Jett’s party.  Jace had a huge smile on his face.  Quite the sense of adventure!

It sure is fun having a baby around here.
