Saturday night I told Josh that if I didn’t give Jace a bath in the next day, he could go ahead and call Child Protective Services. People who know me well know that I don’t like giving my kids baths. By the way, you guys should be getting to know me pretty well by now. You see, my almost-four-year-old has a problem with frequent urination. This “condition” started about 4 weeks ago. And when I say frequent, I do mean frequent. There are [...] Being a baby is hard work. Sure, there are a few perks: sleeping a lot, being completely catered to, being fawned over, being the object of marvel. But part of the job that’s not so glamorous – especially when you’re a little brother – is not being able to protect yourself. Big downer. Last [...] We took our house off the market this week. It was just too stressful, the multiple offers and what-not. I wish. No, we’ve had a change of plans. Josh is on the hunt for a new job. Not just a new job, but a career change. No really, how did I have so much to write about and the time to write it? Could it be that my children aren’t getting into so much mischief? Maybe. Mischief, [...] I can’t believe it’s been a month since I’ve last written about my fitness journey. I’m sure it’s been mostly because I’ve been a spaz lately when it comes to updating the blog. I’m still working out, usually 5 times a week, some of that is weight training and some of that is running. I [...] It was kind of a last minute, throw-together idea, but we had a little bowling party for Jude on Monday night. We have a small bowling alley in our small town and it happens to be on our way to and from Grandma & Grandpa’s house. The boys point it out every time we pass [...] Jude, I have a FIVE year old boy, which is funny because I’ve always wanted a five year old boy. Really, I don’t know why, but ever since you were born, I’ve looked forward – even wished – you would grow older, get bigger, become school-aged quickly. It was a mistake.
