I’ve joined a weight loss competition at my local gym. Prizes are involved. It ends in mid-February. I’ll keep you posted!
I have another session with a personal trainer tonight. My first session was fun and challenging. My measurements were taken again (hips, waist, bust, arms, thighs) and the results were encouraging! I’ve lost the most in my waist (over 2 inches) and slimmed down in all other areas. I also lost 2% body fat. That was really encouraging, too. When only looking at the scale, it’s easy to get distracted and frustrated. Speaking of the scale, my first session was in the evening at which time I weighed myself. I went to the gym again the next morning and I was 6 pounds lighter! Twelve hours later! That drives me crazy and makes me really want to stick to only weighing myself once a week.
Last night when I went to work out, there wasn’t a cardio machine – either treadmill or elliptical trainer – available. Resolutions, anyone? I’m silently hoping they fail to stick with it, I don’t want wait!


Congrats Jessie! Thats awesome. The meaurements are great b/c, as you said, it gives you one more thing to be encouraged about. As for the people taking up all the equipment. I wholeheartedly agree. Missy and I went after work today and it was totally packed. Very frustrating. Keep plugging along!!!
