I feel like she should have a name. Any suggestions?

My new 90th anniversary edition Kitchen Aid mixer arrived last Thursday afternoon. I won this prize on The Pioneer Woman Cooks! site (backstory here). The contest was sponsored by CHEFS Catalog. I noticed that my winning post has since been taken down, otherwise I’d link you to it. Check out the site in general anyway, there are lots and lots of fabulous recipes and instructions. I love the site so much because of the great and many pictures that accompany each recipe. Much appreciated for an amateur like me.
Also, Ree Drummond – the Pioneer Woman herself – has a new cookbook for sale. Here’s the Amazon link to it: The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Recipes from an Accidental Country Girl.
The first (and so far only) thing I’ve made with the lovely lady pictured above was pie dough. I made an apple pie last Friday and yesterday I made a cherry pie. The apple pie was much better, FYI. I can’t wait to use it again, though. Just give me a reason to bake! I dare ya!

She’s a looker. I think you should name her Ruby. I heart Pioneer Woman. There’s lots of yummy baking ideas on her new website http://www.tastykitchen.com. I’ve been in the baking mode too, even without a shiny, pretty, new mixer. Happy Baking my friend!
Hey Jess, I’m so jealous of that pretty little lady, it would even match my kitchen. I’m so excited for you, I entered yesterday to win the silver food processor, me and 29,000 other people. Ree is an amazing gal, I love her website and blog and the recipes are amazing. I want her home and kitchen, it looks beautiful. Anyway, congrats, its an awesome machine!
I second Ruby. It’s simple yet endearing.
I was also going to say Ruby but looks like others beat me to it. You are so lucky and yes Pioneer Woman is amazing. Congrats on winning and happy baking!
Thanks, guys! Ruby it is! This will be the second Ruby in my life. I have a friend whose last name is Ruby (up top, Rubes!) but I think we’ll be able to keep ‘em straight, shouldn’t pose a problem. :)
Why does it have to be a girl? That’s sexist.
The men in this house don’t have a very good track record with baking.
I like Ruby.. But if it’s a guy, Sir Mix-a-Lot
oh my-i like emily’s pick! how will we know if it’s a girl or guy? i’m “mixed” up!!
Grandma Bev, guys don’t have that many uses in a kitchen, its got to be a girl!!!
