It’s been a rough week! Jude’s symptoms have been consistent with the H1N1 virus. He’s still running a fever, but last night he was doing pretty well. I was warned, however, by our pediatrician’s nurse that the fever and symptoms tend to go away for awhile only to return (sometimes worse), so we’re not out [...] Ah, great. Yesterday Jude had a hacking dry cough (like I’ve had since Sunday) but was otherwise normal all day. Josh thought he was a little warm last night around supper time. I didn’t think he was warm enough to take his temperature. Jude started coughing more after he went to bed. I went to [...]
[...] I am totally an Iowa Hawkeye Football fair weather fan and I don’t mind admitting it. We don’t watch many sporting events at our house. I’m all about rooting for any and all Iowa teams (Iowa, ISU, UNI) in any sport and have never had any strong allegiances to any particular school. My new 90th anniversary edition Kitchen Aid mixer arrived last Thursday afternoon. I won this prize on The Pioneer Woman Cooks! site (backstory here). The contest was sponsored by CHEFS Catalog.
