Isn’t she beautiful? This is my friend Sarah. She’s been my friend for such a long time and I absolutely love her. See that belly? Only about a month until her little guy is due to arrive!
And this is Sarah’s husband Brandon. There just aren’t many things as exciting as a couple expecting their first child, in my book. It’s so silly, but I’m almost jealous for them being in this moment: on the cusp of discovering an unimaginable joy.
I came out of retirement to make a quilt! It’s the first one I’ve made in months and months, and just like that, I am already envisioning the next 4 projects to start. And check out the name they’ve chosen for their baby boy! Jace! They had the name picked out months ago – before we had our Jace. It’s so funny because in the same week Josh had (pretty much) decided on the name Jace for our baby, his high school friend (love you, Dusty) had a baby boy and named him Jase. We were shocked because it’s such an uncommon name and now we’ll know 3 babies with the same name born within months of one another. Maybe it won’t be an uncommon name for long!

I got to see Sarah at the wedding reception and she looked gorgeous in person! Another Jace was born in the M’town area as it was in the TR the other day…I wonder if it was Leah’s work friend? East Marshall has a boy on the homecoming court named Jase – looks like they are everywhere!
