Yes, the hubster is 28 today! Happy birthday, honey. This is one of my favorite things about Josh:
His sense of humor, obviously! How could you not love this guy? This picture was taken in 2005, but don’t worry, it was still a good 6 years after the catch phrase on his shirt was popular. C’mon now, that’s funny! The homemade shirt, the underlining, the funny exclamation point… comic gold.
I can’t add a whole lot to what I wrote to him last year, it still stands and then some; I’m overjoyed that this year we have yet another little boy in the house to share in this crazy love. My hope for all my little boys is that someday they’ll find wives that will love and appreciate them as much as I love and appreciate their dad. I’m so darn proud that he’s my husband.
Plus, he’s terribly good-looking… I’m just sayin’.

Well, birthdays are merely symbolic of how another year has gone by and how little we’ve grown. No matter how desperate we are that some day a better self will emerge, with each flicker of the candles on the cake, we know it’s not to be. That for the rest of our sad, wretched, pathetic lives, this is who we are to the bitter end. Inevitably, irrevocably; happy birthday? No such thing.
