Do you remember on Flag Day I referred to our town’s Lion’s Club program? For an annual fee (fundraiser), they will display a flag or flags in one’s yard on each of these holidays: President’s Day, Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Labor Day and Veteran’s Day. I think that’s all. As part of the service, they’ll come around and put the flags in place early in the morning then later in the day they take the them down and store them.

We went out to eat with my in-laws and then the boys lit sparklers in the yard. They also climbed around the trees in our front yard for awhile. Boys.
