Cross-blogging

Two moms, five kids, two cameras, and one park.  Oh, and more importantly,  two blogs between us. 

We met my friend Holly – AKA the Prairie Princess – and her chil’en at our local park.

Check out her blog Hillbilly Hilarity, like now!  And make it a regular stop.  Because she’s my friend.  And more importantly, she’s funny. 

I thought her kids were having fun until I saw the pictures I took.  This is the only one – Dakota’s cute smirk – that showed any semblance of levity.  Of course, being around all the big kids, my kids thought it was great.  And maybe when my children are so enlightened, they won’t think being around little twerps is so cool, either.

See?  I liked Dakota’s half smile so much that I had to set it apart in a composition all its own.  She is the mini-Prairie Princess.
