I need to know where a Tropical Sno may be located somewhere within a reasonable distance to me.
Seriously.
I won’t even get into the wild goose chase I put my husband and kids through… on Father’s Day… to find a Tropical Sno stand. Let’s just say I’m doubtful the locations according to the TS website are accurate. They owe me at least a quarter of a tank of gas.
So, have you seen a Tropical Sno stand this summer? If so, where? This is really important. Think, think.
Des Moines is not off limits, but the west surrounding area would be more ideal.

i am almost positive there is one off of douglas…past the dairy queen and to the right of the blue sky bakery. anytime you want to go, i will goose chase with you. i love them too. i did see another one a little while ago, but can’t for the life of me remember where i was at. but i’m pretty sure the one i mentioned is a yearly spot. remind me to tell you about the chase phillippe and i went on with gabriela when i was preg with andre. i was jonesin big time for a little ts and phillippe was determined to find one. no success was had. best of luck my friend.

Thanks girls! Two more locations to try that I didn’t see on the website! One of the locations we were looking for was a EP True address but very near the intersection with Mills Civic Pkwy. We looked and looked, and finally turned and drove a bit on Mills Civic Pkwy, but we must not have gone far enough.

Jessie we have one in Van Meter!!!! I’ll do a drive by tonight to verify that it is in fact a Tropical Sno instead of an imposter but I’m fairly certain it is. It sits in the parking lot of the laundromat right next to Casey’s.
I’ll report back on my TS recon. We may have to meet there to celebrate.

Ts Recon update: I’m sorry to report that while there is in fact a TS stand at the above mentioned location in VM, it is not in operation and apparently is looking for a new owner. You could own your very own Tropical Sno! Imagine the possibilities.
Hey Jessie. there is a TS on 8th street in WDM. Take the 8th street exit like you are going to Wally World. It’s on the left (West side of 8th street or what ever street it is on that side of the freeway 74th maybe? ) just before you cross the RR tracks and right south of that office complex area.
