A new blog!

I’m so excited to be presenting a new blog to you.  My friend Jess, who I’ve just been waiting to start a blog, has started a blog!  You can imagine my glee.  Here’s the address: http://colloquyofcommoners.blogspot.com.

This is a picture I took of Jess a little over a year ago.  The little guy on her lap is her oldest Judah.  Oldest of three children mind you.  And his current age?  Three!  Yes, you got that right, 3 kids 3 and under.  And you thought I had stories… :)

I first met Jess, well, through my mom & dad.  See, she was their friend before she was my friend.  Jess and her husband Will were the youth leaders at my parents’ church years ago.  Mom and Dad got to know them and uncovered several sordid details about them.  Stuff like their love of bizarre movies that my family thought we were the only ones to ever hear of or like.  And many similar tastes in music.  And just an overall sense of humor.  And, is it bothering you Jess how I’m starting sentences with and and not completing them?  Jess is also a self-proclaimed grammar snob.  Muah ha ha ha!  Now everyone will be watching…

So, check out her blog called Colloquy of Commoners.  Bookmark it, subscribe to her feeds, just make sure you’re in the loop!  Ok?

HA! I was super annoyed with your punctuation and sentence structure. I really was. You win this round. Thanks for the plug. No pressure, huh?

  • Jess & Jessie,
I had three kids UNDER the age of 3 & the last two were just 11 1/2 months apart. There were days I’d have paid someone to take them away! But I survived & you will, too. The time will pass quickly. My “kids” are all grown up now, ages 34, almost 33 & almost 32 (both June birthdays) & they are great friends.

    Deb-
I don’t know you, but you are my new hero. I hear you on the desire to have someone just come and get them for an undetermined amount of time. It doens’t happen though, huh?? Good to know :)
