I’m starting to feel the heat, people!  Summer has been easy up until a week ago.  I’ve been spending lots of time in the air conditioned indoors.  The boys and I have been getting out and doing things, but either in the morning or we’re going to air conditioned places, like stores or the library.

Physically, I’m doing pretty well.  I’ve been cutting myself off from eating anything after 7:30 or 8, and haven’t experienced much acid reflux as a result.  That also means sleep has been better.  But – oh! – how annoying is it to be so physically tired and not be able to find a comfortable sleeping position?!  I feel guilty for tossing and turning so much when Josh is trying to sleep, but it’s not something I can help.  I eventually get cozy or get too tired to notice I’m uncomfortable and drift off to sleep.  I do have Tylenol PM as a backup but haven’t had to take it yet.

That’s really all that’s going on with baby.  He’s very active and beginning to be uncomfortably so.  Our next appointment is a week from today and then I’ll be going weekly.

As for the picture above…

I think it might be “fail”.  I tried to make the photo look old by adding “noise”, scratches and speckles and washing out the color a bit.  Jett just looked at it and said, “You’re dirty!”  Not the look I was going for, but I do like the curved text.  I could have easily added the arc going the opposite direction around my bottom, as I feel that’s the other obvious, um *feature* in this picture.

Stay tuned to the blog, I’ll be posting Father’s Day pictures later today, Josh’s countdown will return tomorrow (along with another giveaway – don’t miss it), and later in the weekend I hope to post an update on Jett – his tonsillectomy/ adenoidectomy happens first thing tomorrow morning.

Thanks for reading, everyone!
