It was time to update the belly pictures. I officially now have 4 times more (at least) pregnancy shots this time around than with the others combined.
I’m trying different photo effects with a program I bought recently: Photoshop Elements. Photoshop itself is too pricey and complex for my needs, I feel. But the Elements version was on mega-sale at Costco awhile back and it’s been fun to explore. There are enough effects and possibilities to keep me going for a long time. A lifetime, maybe.
We enjoyed a productive day, I watched the kids while Josh took care of some outdoor stuff. He watched the kids and pitched in cleaning the house.
We sold $140 worth of stuff/unwanted junk on Craigslist – that was exhilarating.
The in-laws stopped over for a spell. Kids were pooped from being outside most of the day and went to bed early. That was great, except for the fact that Jett was restless all night, moving from his bed, to our floor, and back to his bed. Both boys were awake and ready for the day at 4:30 am. Not kidding. Oh, Jett was down for a nap by 8 am and then slept until 11 am. Not the way I wanted to start the day. I laid down in my room during Jett’s nap and caught a couple of winks while Jude laid with me watching tv. He never napped, the turkey.

Nothing better than seeing a beautiful daughter blossoming with another grandson!
Who took those photos? Especially that first one with the flag in the corner showing that a) you are pregnant and b) it is Memorial Day. Very professional.
