We enjoyed a great Mother’s Day yesterday with Josh’s parents at their house. We had wonderful food and spent lots of time outside in the wonderful weather.
My father-in-law weeks ago had discovered a nest of baby bunnies out behind their house close to an adjoining field. He figured they were just about to leave the nest so we got a 5-gallon bucket and coaxed them out. Caught three. One got away.
At first, the boys were excited. Too excited for the bunnies liking – they were terrified by the kids’ loud noises.
Cautiously curious.
Oh wait, this is cool.
One sudden move and Jude dropped that bunny like a bad habit.
Ok. This is what it looks like. We were amazed at the amount of liquid that escaped from this little creature. The kids thought Josh was squeezing it. Really though, it seemed like this stream lasted for a full minute.
Finally, everyone settled down enough for some good cuddle time.
More on yesterday’s activities later. It was a full and fun day.

These are the cutest pictures…. well, except for the pee
