What we’re doing today

Being pregnant:

Sorry for the blurry picture, but this was an auto-timed shot (and my first tummy shot).  I noticed that I have a small hole and several stains on this shirt, so I’m not all for the clearest shot possible.  I like the mystery of the blurred photo.  Also, I’m in my full not-yet-showered, sweatpant-ed glory.  But with the blurry photo, you can’t really tell, can you?  Save the sweatpants?  So, I take it back, I’m not really sorry about the blurry picture.  It was strategic.

I’m in my 19th week, by the way.  Almost half-way!

Puzzles:

One thing we’re doing today.  This is Jett.

Drooling:

The other thing Jett is doing today.  Poor kid.  Still at it.  It comes and goes, but it’s been bad lately.  And no, I really don’t think he’s cutting teeth.  It’s been constant since birth.  We’ve scheduled his 3 year well-child visit, I’m asking the doctor if there is anything else wrong.  I’ve heard that drooling  (plus snoring, which he also does) could be an adenoid problem.  Whatever that means.

Not doing dishes:

That’s me & what I’m doing today.  Or not doing.  Or doing.  I really NEED to do this today.  Ever since I got sick Tuesday, I haven’t wanted to touch these.  Yeah, that’s right – in my 19th week of pregnancy, I threw up for the first time.  Twice.  I’m starting to think it was from taking amoxicillin on an empty stomach.  And did I mention I had a sinus infection for which I was prescribed said amoxicillin?  I struggled with constant congestion for 10 days before I went to the doctor, not wanting to take any medication, but also wanting to get OVER whatever was plaguing me, turns out it was a sinus infection.  I was in agony the day after I went to the doctor and gave in; Josh filled the prescription for me.  After about 24 hours, I started getting relief.  And then with the puking.  I backed off the drugs for a day and then have been careful about eating with the medication since and I’ve been fine.

But I’m always just grossed out by the sink and dirty dishes after being nauseous or getting sick.  Time to get over that, I’m afraid.  It makes a great excuse, though.
