We stayed at a hotel this weekend with Josh’s dad’s side of the family. It’s something they have done for years and years, back to when Josh and his cousins were kids. And now we have our own kids who participate in the fun!
Here’s the agenda each time: push pool-side tables together, sit, eat, talk, swim, eat pizza, swim, play cards, sleep, wake up, have breakfast, swim, talk, eat lunch, go home. Don’t you love how we get down to business?
Our boys had so much fun swimming in the pool.
That is Jude with cousin Keaton. Keaton is 10 and goes a great job playing with the boys. See? He even let Jude wear his goggles some of the time.

And literally, this was Jett walking five steps inside the door where he collapsed for a 2 hour nap after getting back home.
man! i could use a hotel adventure…and a long nap by the front door, as well.
