One of the joys about having kids close in age is hearing some of the things they say… times two.
Last week Jett was crouched in the cold kitchen before breakfast; I had just changed his diaper but hadn’t yet put clothes on him. He was huddled close to the floor his knees up to his chest.
Jude walked into the room and took great interest in Jett’s back, approaching him slowly and running his hands softly against his back, looking carefully. Finally, he exclaimed, “Mom! Jett has a dinosaur back!”
He was really excited when I told him that he had one, too… aka a spine! For now it’s a regular household treat when one of them has a shirt off – they show each other their dinosaur backs!

thats so cute!
Your boys have such great imaginations!!
Hello! I just wanted to let you know that I have seen you comment once in a while on FB about your “blog”…I thought tonight I would look it up. I have spent at least 2 hours reading through them. I have often thought of blogging, but don’t know where to start. The best blogs I have ever read are those about other mom experiences! Kids are so pure and innocent and to hear the way their minds think is amazing! I have saved your blog to my favorites and will continue to follow your blogging, and maybe just maybe get motivated to start the blogging someday.
