Congrats Emily!
Today she was offered a job she was rumored to have been selected for over 2 weeks ago. She’d been waiting and waiting and waiting, and finally today, she got THE phone call.
So, instead of free-lancing at Meredith Publishing, she’ll be a full-blown (I think that’s what they call it) Meredith employee. I think Emily would agree with me that this is what she’s been wanting for a long time. No more having to pay self-employment taxes or paying for health insurance out-of-pocket. She’ll get benefits!

Isn’t it wonderful how God can take something that is devastating and make something wonderful out of it? Reminds of what Joseph told his brothers when they feared that he wouldn’t help him because of what they had done to him. “What you meant for evil, God meant for good!” Congratulations, Emily!
