In other news, last night was another GREAT night for bedtime. No nap during the day (which I think they’re getting more and more used to) and Jett dozed off after the second book we read. Jude did just fine in his room as Josh sang & played guitar for them. He was asleep by the 3rd song. And we didn’t have to take the blue light away. And they were both asleep by 8! Yay! A girl could get used to this!

We were supposed to have a meeting today at Jude’s preschool with the AEA people, but due to all the area school cancellations and frigid temps, looks like they’re not working today, so we’ll have to reschedule. Bummer.

Yesterday I thought I’d give Jett another chance in the potty-training readiness area. I had training pants on him all day and not only did he NOT care at all when he was soppin’ wet, but the times he would use the potty (purely to get a sticker) he only had dribbles. Doesn’t seem like he’s getting it yet. We’ll try in another month or so. Jude wasn’t really ready until his 3rd birthday, so we’ll see with Jett – he turns 3 in April. Chances are he’ll have it down by the time the little one gets here, right? Oh, I hope so!

I have to comment to your blog since I have acknowledged the “Prairie Princess” Holly’s new blog. Truth is, Jessie! I have kept up with your blog and enjoy your great details of quilting, kids, motherhood, and family. You two girls are super bloggers. But note my comment to Holly. This baby boomer more than likely won’t be doing a blog anytime soon. Maybe if I EVER have grandkids someday, I’ll have some cute stuff to write about. Meanwhile, just look for me trying to get in shape at Aspen while I’m unemployed.
Hi Jess, I went to the hillbilly blog and then from there went to http://www.thepioneerwoman.com, check that one out as well, she is funny and her writing is amazing. she is writing all about how her husband and her met and its like a Harlequin romance. She has written every few days for like a year and a half, its an amazing story, check it out. She has some yummy recipes too. Your friends blog is great too. Thanks for introducing me to two new blogs, kinda good news/bad news though, cause I couldn’t quit reading them, so its more time on the computer!!! Barb
