Yesterday an AEA person came to observe Jude for part of the morning. We didn’t know she was coming ahead of time. Jude’s teacher said he did really well for the time she was there. He had a few incidents – nothing major – after the rep left. Figures.
The teacher said that the AEA doesn’t make any kind of conclusion or evaluation based on one visit. So she (or others) should be back later.
I’m glad that Jude was ‘good’ during preschool, but I also wished he would have shown some of the behaviors that his teacher has been concerned about. Or maybe there is really nothing wrong?
Maybe we’ll hear or know more next week.
