Christmas pictures

I did it!  I took pictures off my camera, put them onto my computer and have chosen a few to share with you!  It’s been a busy day!

Our first Christmas get together was at Josh’s mom & dad’s house.  The first picture shows Jett opening the first gift of the day from Josh’s brother Justin.  Jude got the exact same thing (fighter planes) and neither of the boys wanted to open any other gifts! 

(By the way, the coonskin cap and cowboy boots are standard garb at Grandma Jan’s house.  Jude wears cowboy boots and a cowboy hat.  They were Josh & Justin’s from a long time ago.)

Eventually we coaxed them into opening the rest of their gifts.  This was a popular one:

We were so excited to see cousin (nephew) Jackson!  Look how big he is!

Next, we opened gifts at our house.  Jett couldn’t believe his fortune when he opened his second pack of socks!  Poor kid, he wears all of Jude’s old socks, so many of them are so thin when he puts them on that by the end of the day, his toes are poking through!  He was genuinely excited by the socks and wanted to put them on immediately!

Jude got a digital camera and he’s been taking pictures, I’ll have to post one later, they are as horrible as you would expect from a $10 camera.  Surprisingly, he doesn’t mind the poor quality and loves having his own camera.

We had a few more Christmas gatherings, but I didn’t get my camera out at some of them.  Here’s a few from my parents’ house:

Ok, so there were more than a few pictures.  This was about half of the fun we had this Christmas.  Of course, as the kids get a little older, the more they anticipate it and have fun. 

No plans tonight for New Year’s Eve.  Just the way we want it.  We’re hoping to put the kids to bed early and then follow suit!  It will be so nice to have Josh home tomorrow, as well.  Can’t wait!
