I did it! I took pictures off my camera, put them onto my computer and have chosen a few to share with you! It’s been a busy day! Our first Christmas get together was at Josh’s mom & dad’s house. Most of you regular readers have probably noticed a change in my blogging habits, and not for the better! The truth is I’ve been feeling sick and wasn’t ready to give my secret away… until now. We found out I was pregnant shortly after Thanksgiving. It was a bit [...] Sorry it’s been SO long since I’ve posted! I can explain! Well, not really, I’ve just been busy. Friday the boys and I went into Des Moines for a lunch date with some friends that I used to work with. It was interesting to say the least! The boys were unbelievably naughty, running away [...] Oh my goodness, yesterday was my busiest blog day so far. How fitting. Top that! I don’t think I’ve written much about Christmas yet. I don’t know… I’m feeling distracted. We have almost all of our shopping done, but none of the wrapping done. We do have a plan for the family get-togethers, though. Specifics [...] Josh and I came across this YouTube video over the weekend and we were appalled/amused. Apparently, this is taken from the 1989 movie Teen Witch. Enjoy! And top that! [...] Yesterday afternoon I had the *nerve* to sneak away and shower after the kids had got up from their naps. I gave them a snack and put on a movie that they hadn’t seen in a long time thinking they would be captivated long enough for me to shower. How wrong I was. This video [...] I’m back from my blogging strike. Ha. Not really. Monday I knew that Tuesday I wanted to post about the new addition to our extended family. Josh’s cousin Nate and his wife Libby welcomed another baby girl into the world Monday! I was going to share a picture, stats, all that good stuff. Only one [...] The weekend was a mix. Fun because the kids and I went to Mom & Dad’s but miserable because I had the worst sinus pressure/head cold. It’s breaking up more and more today. Ick. The real reason I wanted to go stay at Mom & Dad’s was because I wanted to visit Alison and her [...] Yesterday an AEA person came to observe Jude for part of the morning. We didn’t know she was coming ahead of time. Jude’s teacher said he did really well for the time she was there. He had a few incidents – nothing major – after the rep left. Figures. The teacher said that the AEA [...] Last week when we were at Mom & Dad’s for Thanksgiving, Mom sat down with Jude and was looking through a sales ad. They came across Cars characters. Mom pointed at Mater the tow truck, but she couldn’t remember Mater’s name. She called him Tater. Jude looked up at her and said, "It starts with [...] |
