My darling husband had his head in the toilet for another reason last night. The poor guy woke up starting at 2 am sick and was up countless times during the night – not knowing how he could have so much liquid in him.
Every time he got up, I prayed out loud for God to let this illness pass quickly and that the boys and I won’t get it! This stuff is ‘going around’ as they say and it would be amazingly wonderful if somehow the boys and me were spared.
On the agenda for today:
Take Jude to preschool.
Make Jude apologize to his preschool teachers for the fit he threw Tuesday upon pick-up from preschool. He had a "great day" they said and then when I came to pick him up he threw himself on the floor – in front of all the teachers, students, parents, siblings – bawling about not being able to take his crayons and markers home. (We have crayons, etc. at home.) It was ugly.
Go to the grocery store with Jett to buy 7-UP and crackers – essential stomach flu supplies.
Pick Jude up from preschool (hopefully without incident).
Lay low and avoid the bedroom, allowing Daddy to get some rest and keep away from his germs – but it’s most likely too late for that.

Poor Josh! At least we know he didn’t get sick from messing with the toilet the other day since flylady ways have been implemented.
