Dylan is such a funny guy – for years he could not go into Wal-Mart because the chance of seeing a Halloween mask was too terrifying (all year round). But recently, a co-worker of Dad’s who has his own plane took Dylan and Dad up and Dylan had so much fun! Wasn’t scared a bit!
Dad was planning to fly to Atlanta alone to visit his brother and then Mom found really good airline fares so they all decided to go. They had to be careful not to tell Dylan too early about the trip because the excitement in the interim would have been too much for him and if anything came up to where they couldn’t go – the devastation would have been too much.
Jeez, Mom and Dad pulled Dylan out of school to go to the South Dakota trip in September, and now this?! I’m starting to think Emily, Jacob and I got the short end of the stick!
Can’t wait to hear about the trip, guys!

I was asked to post a link to a Caring Bridge site for a little 4 year old boy who was recently diagnosed with cancer. I don’t have an immediate connection with this family other than being called to pray for him and his family today. That’s God’s way of putting us in touch with each other, right?! The more people who are lifting this family up in prayer, the better.

Thanks!

Jesse, love the pictures, isn’t it funny to look back, believe me, they will get funnier and funnier as the years go on.
John had a coworker a couple of years ago and his wife had cancer, they used Caring Bridge to keep people updated, and it was amazing how through word of mouth people litterally from all over the world were praying for her. The cancer took her life, but I know caring bridge brought her much comfort through those months of her illness. They said she read those up until the day she died. I never met her, but would send her notes through Caring Bridge and by the end felt as if I knew the whole family. Its really an awesome way to connect with people. Thanks for sharing, I will pray for that family and send notes of encouragment.
