My friend Leslie is a rockstar. Her doctors induced labor yesterday morning by breaking her water. Two and a half hours later, both babies were born! And get this…
Carter Henry weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces and was 19 1/2" long;
Tyler Robert weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces and was also 19 1/2" long!
Is that a lot of baby or what?!
All are happy and healthy, but also tired and resting. The NICU doctors didn’t have any concerns and the babies are able to stay in their mommy’s room and go to the regular nursery.
Fun facts:
- The twins join brothers Jackson and Lincoln at home – all boys have Presidential names!
- Each twin was bigger at birth than their first son, Jackson.

Hey Jess, love that quilt, what a wonderful gift for our two wonderful sisters in Christ, I love those girls. Boy o Boy, (no pun intended) are you guys going to have fun over the next few years with all your guys. You all are so blessed to have each other during these years, cherish them they go by quickly. I can’t wait to meet all those little boys, it will be fun to watch them grow up. I love the names of the little Banwart Presidents, so cute. I know they are done, but wouldn’t be fun for them to start on some little first ladies!!!! Get too quiltin girl, its chilly today and those babies need their quilts!!! Talk to you later, Barb

Tell your friend that being the parents of twins is wonderful. Now I know my girls are older…they will be 18 months this week. But, maybe we should be planning some playdates in the future with those two young men???
