Fire safety week

Jude’s preschool got a visit from a few of our town’s fire fighters yesterday… AND they had a fire truck for the kids to climb on and inspect.  The preschool director invited parents and siblings to take part in the fun as well, so Jett and I went to listen to the presentation.

Here the fire fighter is showing the children the infrared camera:

It was so nice that Jett could participate, too!  He was the last one to get off the fire truck:

When I went back to preschool to pick Jude up at the end of the morning, I quizzed him on what the fire fighters talked about.  I said, "Jude, what number do you call on the phone if there is a fire, or someone is hurt and needs help?"

Jude: "A?"

Ok, so we need to reinforce that contingency plan, but today was a great introduction, I’m sure.

  • Jessica, Such fun cute times, took me right back to the girls preschool days and the simple little fun things that amused them back then, good times. They are so cute at that age, so innocent and sweet, even when they are naughty, still cute. OK I can say that, I am way past those days!!! Your boys just make me smile they are all boy and such cute little men. Come on over for a play date, I have a 2 year old girl that would love a playmate or two for a morning, so anytime you want to get out, give me a call, they would have fun. Have a good day, its going to be beautiful. Talk to you later, Barb
