Oh, Jude, it’s 5:30 pm, please don’t take a nap now!
My in-laws were a big help, as always, over the weekend. While we were entertaining friends at our house Friday night, the boys went to Chuck E. Cheese with them (for the second time in about a month’s time… if you’re keeping track at home). When I learned this plan from Jan and relayed it to the kids, Jude asked, "Is grandma going to have money for the toys?" Oh yes, he’s realizing the importance of the almighty dollar, just as he’s also realizing that Chuck E. Cheese is a grandma & grandpa kind of a treat.
As if that wasn’t generous enough, the in-laws kept the kids overnight. And if that wasn’t enough, they also watched them until 3:30 pm on Saturday so I could attend a baby shower while Josh worked.
All that fun and no naps for either boy. That is, until wakefulness no longer became an option for Jude.
Jett was still going strong…
Bless his heart, he kept talking about Cottage Cheeses-es. When Josh came home from work he asked Jett, "Did you eat pizza?"
Jett answered, "and ice cream coned!" How sweet.
