Big news this week on the baby front!
Rachel (cousin on Josh’s side) and her husband Vincent found out their first child is a boy!
Nate (another cousin on Josh’s side) and his wife Libby are expecting again (hooray!) and they found out it’s another girl! Their daughter Hannah is 2 years old. Then they were blessed with a second daughter Eve last fall, but due to a serious medical condition that developed in utero, lived for almost a week. But things look good for this pregnancy and we couldn’t be more excited for them.
And then yesterday, Alison and her babies made me out to be a liar! :) Four weeks ago I blogged about an ultrasound she had where they thought Baby B was a boy for sure. Nope! Wrong-o! Baby B is a girl… and so is Baby A! Ali wasn’t even expecting any news on the genders and went from believing she was likely having two boys to knowing she’s having two girls. I guess that’s the danger in trying to determine gender too early via ultrasound. She’s hoping for no more surprises this pregnancy.
No news is good news for my friends Jackie and Leslie who are both due in October. Both are growing beautifully and are having healthy pregnancies. They are having boys, Jackie – with one on board, and Leslie with two.
