How lucky are we?! A little over a week ago our next door neighbors called and asked if we wanted their piano. The time came for them to do some rearranging and decided not to keep it.
When we first moved into our house, we loved the idea of having a piano in our front room because we didn’t know what else to do with the room. While I would say neither Josh or I play (I took lessons for a few years as a child), we both thought a piano would be nice. Maybe the kids would take an interest if a piano was accessible. Or maybe we’ll force them to take lessons? We may…
After some careful rearranging of our front room to free up space, we thankfully agreed to take the piano. Sunday afternoon after the birthday party we took advantage of the extra muscle to move the piano from our neighbors house to our house.
What a special gift! I look at it and feel so blessed to have something so nice in our house and to be surrounded by loving neighbors. Thanks, Steele family! You’re the best!
On another note: Happy birthday Alexis! We love you! You were born at the same time I graduated from high school. It makes me feel old that you’re 9 today!

Ooh…in a few years you’ll have to hit me up for the family discount on piano lessons! I’m trying to get serious about it…I have 1 student now and 2 “prospects.” Enjoy your piano!
