Jett doesn’t mind getting his hair cut – I guess buzzed would be more accurate. Jude gets terrified every time. He has a thing against loud noises. The vacuum, the fan in the bathroom, and the hair clippers are a few of the worst offenders. Jude’s hair cut usually ends up happening like this: I [...] Sunday afternoon Mom & I went to a baby shower for my friend Anna. Not only was the day special because of the baby shower, but Anna turned 27 on that very day – April 27, her golden birthday. Her yet unnamed baby girl is due May 9th. We had a great time at the [...] Too many blog-licious things happened this weekend, I can’t cram them all into one post! This was our Saturday night get-together at Mom & Dad’s house. Will, Jess, Judah and Mayah came to hang out with us. Can you believe I didn’t get my camera out until Mayah was asleep? I could kick myself! [...] Good morning, everyone! Usually when one is busy, the week goes by quickly. Not so this week. I’ve been busy every night, and it’s gone by so slowly! It’s wonderful that not only the calendar reads Friday, but Josh doesn’t have to work tomorrow. YES! We’re headed to Mom & Dad’s house tomorrow afternoon. [...] A giant marshmallow, whisker-kisses, the constant threat of biting, ever-present drool. The relationship between the two is strange and beautiful. (My sister Emily is the on-looker.) [...] Last week I realized that Jett didn’t have an appointment scheduled for his 2 year well-child visit. I called the pediatrician’s office and they were able to get us in the same afternoon due to a cancellation. Jett measured 37 1/2″ tall, which is in the 99th percentile. And he weighed 31# [...] I love getting outside and walking when the weather is warm. We usually walk with friends but yesterday we went by ourselves, so we stopped just off the bike trail and took photos. [...] Went out with friends last night to celebrate my birthday, which isn’t until tomorrow. I had a truly wonderful time. We laughed and laughed and laughed! I brought my camera and announced we’d be taking senior pictures. Ha ha. Thanks Rubes, [...] I captured Jett at his best the other day, after a long morning of playing outside. He didn’t quite make it to dinner. The video is kind of shadowy, I wish you could clearly see the way his eyes were rolling around in his head and how he struggled to keep his eyelids up. There [...] Why, my dear boys? Why do you do things like this? And less than an hour after your return from Grandma & Grandpa’s house? Were you trying to repay the 3 days of naughtiness that we missed while you weren’t here? Honestly, we left them alone for minutes while putting some things away [...] |
