Progress on Lovebirds (Circle gets the Square): I finished piecing the entire top last night. I had to stay up until 12:30 am to do it, but sometimes you just can’t quit when you’re on a roll! I used a variety of fabrics that contained red, black and white. Funny, I liked the boldness [...] Welp, the weekend was good… no, great. Mom took the kids on Friday afternoon. Need I say more? Friday we had a friend over for dinner; he and Josh stayed home and hung out while my friend Barb and I went out for coffee and talked. It was fun a lot of fun. Saturday we [...] Sorry for the late posting, everyone. I hope I didn’t worry anyone (besides Mom). I had a rare opportunity this morning to quilt. So instead of writing about it, I got busy! This is what happened when I tried to photograph the quilt while the kids were still awake. Yeah, it [...] Here’s a picture of the quilting I have done so far on this yet unnamed quilt. I decided to quilt some freehand curlicues in the background of the appliqué blocks, it seemed fitting to the whimsical style of the quilt. I will probably go back and quilt in the actual appliqué shapes, too. I think [...] I thought I’d post an update on the next quilt I have to finish. It’s still unnamed, but my trusty quilt-namer is working on it.
