At the time I made this quilt, I posted instructions on how to make a snowball block and how to sew a quilt top together, but I also photographed the process I go through to make appliqué letters. I had bought a lot of cute “girl” fabric lately and I wanted to incorporate it into this quilt. I also didn’t want to cut the fabric up too much, so I just started slicing [...] Here is the quilt I made for my friend Anna’s baby girl, who is due a week from tomorrow, although my baby shower prediction was that she’d deliver on the 12th of May.
