Here is what I’ll be working on today:
Since I posted the first kids’ craft apron I made, I received a few orders for aprons to give as Christmas presents.
I still need to add the finishing touches like adding a pocket with an initial on each.
I’ve made a few changes from the first apron, so this is version 2.0. I found an crafty blog with an article on kids’ aprons so I adjusted my design after reading great advice about making the top tied instead of looped. I found this advice to be particularly savory since I only know the ages of the girls who will be donning these aprons and won’t be able to measure them. The ties are adjustable whereas the looped neck of the other apron was not. Simple but brilliant!

Don’t forget rick-rack, what’s an apron without rick-rack somewhere in the design? :)
So adorable! Love them.
Oh my goodness! I must have these for the girls. My mom keeps talking about how she can’t wait to bake with them :) I bet by this time next year, they will be ready!
