Thanks, Mary! I’ve always liked getting all of the cutting out of the way before I start a project. I don’t know what that says about my personality… hmmm…? That being said, I’ve screwed up plenty of cutting measurements before, but that’s why quilters are great improvisers! Fudge it and pretend that was the plan all along! LOL! I need more discipline! I never get all my fabric cut before I start sewing. I recently bought a kit for a table topper and today, I have to go see if I can beg, borrow or steal more fabric of one kind because I cut it while talking to my sister and instead of cutting a strip 3″ wide, I cut 2 that were 2 1/2″. I still had enough to cut one strip the correct width. Now, instead of having 6 finished block, I only have three! Glad you are back to doing quilts again.
