Most of you know that I’m a quilter.  I am.  I make quilts.  And I’m not your grandma.  Interesting, huh?

Moving along…

I’m working on integrating my love of quilting with this site.  But not the main portion of the site.  Right now those are my thoughts and ideas – nothing I can show you now.  James Bond kind of stuff, you know.

I tried to stay away from quilting, I did.  It didn’t take.  I’m back and as inspired as ever to tackle new projects and finishing up some old ones, too.  Even though I sew on my kitchen table now, I’m still quilting and that’s what counts!

I’ve made 3 1/2 baby quilts in the last month or so; I’ll show you the others when the time is right.  I’m forcing myself to use the fabric and other supplies that I already have instead of buying new. There’s a concept!

I’m so green.

Jessie, that’s gorgeous!! I would love to see it Sunday if you haven’t given it to anyone yet! :) So, so pretty. I’m very excited for Sunday!

    Love your color choices!

  • Sara, I’d love to show it to you, but finished quilts don’t stay very long in this house! I have it as a gift earlier this week.

Ali, I thought you’d recognize the fabric! In making your girls’ quilts, there were large pieces of leftover fabric. I just used those leftovers to make this quilt – didn’t even have to do any extra cutting. I pieced the top back in the early spring and just recently quilted it and bound it. Easy peasy!

Thanks for the nice comments, everyone. :)
