Progress on Lovebirds (Circle gets the Square):
I finished piecing the entire top last night. I had to stay up until 12:30 am to do it, but sometimes you just can’t quit when you’re on a roll!
I used a variety of fabrics that contained red, black and white. Funny, I liked the boldness and simplicity in my draft of the solid fabrics, but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to use fabrics from my stash that worked perfectly with the color scheme.
I hope to mark the top with some quilting lines today – if I don’t fall asleep first!

i love love love this quilt!!! super cute and ya, not your style, but you did amazing!! i love the post from yesterday. it’s funny how things can seem so ‘arrrrgggghhh’, like getting too much fabric. but when the plan is laid out you have an ‘ohhhh, so that’s what i’m supposed to do. thanks, lord!’ moment. how sweet you are, jessie, to do that for them. they will forever hold that dear and never forget you for that! you’re a pretty neat gal!
I love that!
I think this might be my favorite quilt. I really like it, it is simple yet eye catching. I like circles!!
Is this a big quilt?
