Here’s a picture of the quilting I have done so far on this yet unnamed quilt. I decided to quilt some freehand curlicues in the background of the appliqué blocks, it seemed fitting to the whimsical style of the quilt. I will probably go back and quilt in the actual appliqué shapes, too.
I think I’ll quilt the other blocks and border with a medium-scale meander. Shouldn’t take too long to finish, now.
The safety pins are holding the layers of the quilt together until I can stitch through the layers. I remove the pins as I quilt.
