April 21st, 2008 | by Jessie | I recently finished a customer quilt repair. A gentleman contacted me about repairing a quilt belonging to his fiancée. The quilt contained pieces of her grandmother’s clothing. Her grandmother died when this woman was a very young girl, so these scraps of her clothing are very sentimental to her.

April 2nd, 2008 | by Jessie | Here’s a picture of the quilting I have done so far on this yet unnamed quilt. I decided to quilt some freehand curlicues in the background of the appliqué blocks, it seemed fitting to the whimsical style of the quilt. I will probably go back and quilt in the actual appliqué shapes, too.
