Well, thank you all for your feedback regarding different settings for this quilt.
I like the fact that different people like different settings. It’s nice to have options as no two quilters are the same.
I’ve decided that my sample will be done using option 3 and another shop sample will be done in a much brighter spring color palette, hopefully in the option 2 setting. Layouts for all 4 options will be included in the pattern.
The date for this class hasn’t been set yet, but I’ll post the information on my blog when we nail down a date, place and time.
Fun fact about the name of the quilt: the traditional block used is called Four Corners. There is a song by one of my favorite bands called Four Winds. So, I thought it was natural to name it after the song. My husband liked this idea so much that he designated himself my official quilt-namer and will be scouring our iPod for names of future quilts. I’m happy to have him on board in any capacity. :)
